Is There Netflix App For Apple Watch?
If you have ever used Netflix you’d know the first step is always to have it available on your device. Now that device could be anything. Right now I am streaming Suits on my PlayStation because a) it is a good show and b) there is Netflix application for PlayStation.
So what about Netflix application for Apple Watch? Do you think there is one?
Newsflash: There isn’t. Netflix hasn’t made a native application for Apple Watch. It is kinda similar to how we saw WhatsApp having no native application for Fossil Gen 5E (yes I know they have launched one now for Wear OS 3 devices, but it is still not on Gen 5E). So this happens. It is very common in smartwatches world.
“So we should just stop hoping?”

Well, I never said that, although that is true that there is no application for you to download. There are some way through which you can find that connection between your Apple Watch and Netflix.
Apple Watch Works As Remote For Netflix!
I know. I know that this is not what most of you want but here us out: You can use your Apple Watches as a remote for your TVs or even iPhone while watching anything on Netflix. All you would have to do to make it a reality would be this:
Launch the remote control application on your Apple Watch and pair it with your Apple TV. Navigate to Settings > Remotes and Devices > Remote App and Devices on your Apple TV, then opt for Apple Watch from the list. Input the Apple Watch passcode displayed on your Apple TV.
You Can Use Browser To Access Netflix On Apple Watch!
Okay, this one won’t work with all types of Apple Watches. So you got to have the latest ones, and by latest we mean starting from the Apple Watch Series 7 or later. Assuming you got it this what you have to do:
- Call Siri for your aid.
- Ask it to open the browser and go to “Netflix.com.”
- On the website enter your ID and Password and open your Dashboard.
Keep in mind that given this is a work around, there is uncertainty to weather it work out or not. If it does your welcome. If it doesn’t we have one more trick left in our bag for you.
TV. Netflix. iPhone & Action…
For this to work out you would need three things: Apple Watch (without a doubt), an iPhone, and TV. Just for full transparency you can also use the Mac instead of TV but we are going with TV right now.
So once you have all three available, open the TV and set up Netflix there. Then using the iPhone you need to position your iPhone in front of TV in a way that it is capturing complete screen. Because this is very important for we are about to do next.
Once your iPhone is getting the good picture. Open the OS camera on Apple Watch and voila you will be able to mirror your iPhone screen on your watch, and since iPhone screen is capturing the TV from it’s camera you will be seeing Netflix on your Apple Watch!
Isn’t that great?
