Information You're Finding!
Neither Fitbit Versa 4 nor Fitbit Sense 2 supports the third-party application which means you cannot download the Spotify on your Fitbit smartwatches.
Is There Spotify On Versa 4 & Sense 2
Released in 2022 Fitbit Versa 4 and Sense 2 have been around for a while now. They are more than one year old today and yet they still have some issues. Although, it is true that many problems which were present at the time of release like handling calls and texts have been resolved by Fitbit through updates, there are still many bugs at helm forcing potential buyers to look for alternatives.
So, your question is it possible to download Spotify on Versa 4 and Sense 2 kinds of hangs in balance. However, just for now, because here is your answer: You cannot download or install Spotify on Fitbit Versa 4 and Fitbit Sense 2. The reason for which is pretty petty and simple and it is that after the Versa 3 and Sense success Fitbit decided it was too good of a response and it is time to make the coming iterations shadow of their former self.

“So Spotify Was Not On Versa 3 & Sense Either?”
As a matter of fact both Fitbit Versa 3 and Fitbit Sense allowed it’s user to download Spotify. There was no limitation, you could easily connect your mobile phone with your Fitbit and then control Spotify from your Fitbit smartwatch. Although, it should be noted that it was necessary to have the premium Spotify version installed. So, yes they literally removed something which was working perfectly fine for no apparent reason.
But Wait.
Or was there a reason and we are too naive to see it. Let’s think what has happened recently at Fitbit which could’ve forced their hands to tamper with their perfect set of smartwatches (which were already announce to be released at the same time as the debutant Pixel watch).
Can you smell something fishy?
Why Is Spotify Not On Latest Fitbit Trackers?
In early 2021 Fitbit announced that Alphabet Inc (parent company of Google) has bought the major shares of Fitbit and from now onwards the famous fitness tracking empire would be headed by the winds of overloads at Google. Actually, they didn’t officially used the word ‘overload’ but you get the gist. Needless to say Google has been trying to enter the wearable market for a long time, it is no secret. More so since after 2015 Apple is comfortably sitting at the top as the king of the smartwatches.
Now, I am no conspiracy theorist but even I can tell something lit up like a bulb on head when Google saw the turmoil Fitbit was in. Just 6 years ago Fitbit was the best and easily the most profitable wearable company and now it was too deep in trenches fighting for survival. How is it not possible that Google wouldn’t save someone like that to not gain unfair advantage?
And that is what happened!
Today Fitbit is controlled by Alphabet Inc so Google and Fitbit have same parents. Which means Fitbit has to listen to everything Alphabet asks of them. Because no one is allowed to upset Google. So, if you are wondering why Fitbit Versa 4 and Sense 2 do not support any third-party application (including the Spotify), you can rightfully blame Google for being the favorite child in the Alphabet household.
Can We Expect To See Change With Versa 5 Or Sense 3?
Honestly, I don’t see that happening, not to mention it has been one year since the arrival of Versa 4 and Sense 2 and we still don’t know a thing about Fitbit Versa 5 or Sense 3. The best guess is that they will arrive at some time during the early 2025 or so.
In any event while it would be awesome to see Fitbit growing a spine and adding just as much features in their smartwatches as Pixel Watch. However, if they didn’t, you can grow a spine and buy the Pixel Watch any time. Or if you have already bought the Versa 4 or Sense 2 and you want to refund, you can do it too. Fitbit grants 12 month warranty on all of it’s purchases made through certified retailers or stores.
